A veteran artist manager and booking agent, Katie Backus (she/her) joined the Colbert Artists’ team in 2024 as Vice President. Before her tenure at Colbert Artists, Katie worked at Melvin Kaplan Inc./MKI Artists and Concert Artists Guild. Katie has a background in music education specializing in string instruments and has taught at the public schools, Montessori schools, and community music schools. She loves baking, reading, being outdoors hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, etc., and her pug Seamus.
